Terms and Conditions

You need to be 18 or older to use Tideplan. You're responsible for your account and for everything that happens under it. If you think someone else has accessed your account, email hello@tideplan.io.

Don't use Tideplan to do anything illegal, attack the service, send spam or malware, or scrape it.

Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time, and your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Prices are in USD and may change with reasonable notice.

Payments are handled by Polar, our payment provider and merchant of record. Polar runs the checkout, charges your subscription, and issues your receipts. We never see or store your card details.

You have 14 days from your first payment to cancel and get a full refund. This does not apply to renewals. Email us at hello@tideplan.io and we'll refund your first payment in full.

After that, you can still cancel any time. Your plan runs to the end of the current billing period, and we don't refund a partial one.

If you're a consumer in the EU, this covers the right of withdrawal you have under EU consumer law (Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014).

Anything you put into Tideplan stays yours. You give us permission to host and display it so we can run the service. You're responsible for making sure your content is legal and doesn't infringe anyone's rights.

The Tideplan service, its design and code, belong to us. Using Tideplan doesn't grant you any rights to our name or branding.

We try to keep Tideplan running smoothly but can't guarantee it will always be available. We may change or discontinue features and will give notice for significant changes when we can.

Tideplan is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted or error-free, or be compatible with every device or browser.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use Tideplan. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can stop using Tideplan and delete your account any time.

We may update these terms. For material changes we'll notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days in advance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Portugal.
